Validating to hear you two say some of these things. We're all being gaslighted all the time. Constantly told that every lie we expose is "crazy conspiracy theory", constantly being barraged with the same lies that big brother government cares about us, blablabla. I agree that "the good guys are going to win" because the bad guys are parasitic in nature. People call them "the predator class" sometimes, but a predator kills and eats its prey. The powers that be, w/e you call them, are dependent on us being alive and producing for them. When we start checking out, they're in trouble. When all the decent people stop listening to their false narratives, that's going to make it harder for the majority to keep lying to themselves. #ImDone

I was blessed to share with my mom for the last few years of her life and she saw it all for what is is ... lost her in 2011 to cancer by the hands of the medical mafia!
Your mom sounds like a very smart woman !!!
Love your happiness, love you lady!
Whats d name of that flower used?
So, how much bad news are we supposed to take? I'm indoor practicing: long johns/top and bottom, jeans, sweaters, both with tops and they are going to tell me I need even more indoors, than what I already have? Did I mention my fireplace is on? Trying to get myself ready to hit the shower, which means that means I have to unbundle all this stuff. AND the grid is still up. I better pay attention.
carmen, please don't shoot the messenger. if there is one thing i know, it will get much worse. having a good mental attitude and being as prepared as possible is what is called for.
@@BackyardFood What? Where did you get that I attacked you???? All I made was list of what I am wearing right now. I live in Northern Minnesota and expecting 40 degrees, below freezing tonight. LOL.

That was interesting !!!
Glad you liked it :)
Not going to any event where that racist Stew Peters is. Don’t want anything to do with that piece of shit. We’re about peace, natural living and love - he’s full of hate.
My dad, who is a senior, got a call from his "grandson" who said he got arrested after being in an accident, please don't tell his mom and he needs money for bail. At first, my dad thought it was really his grandson but thankfully he caught on and asked some questions only his real grandson would know the answer to and the scammer hung up. Be careful, everyone.
Oh wow.... pulling on the heartstrings with the grandson! Thanks for sharing. Sigh, we live in crazy times.
Be careful. I wouldn't give any personal info

it's beautiful here. it's definitely got it's own problems, but at least there are mangoes. :)
@BackyardFood what kind of problems?
The link on your substack to caribbeanagroforestry is wrong.
❤
We have considered getting on the island to do a fruit farm. You can help me become a millionaire.
LOL, they way to make a million in farming is to start with 2 million. Or of course with hyper inflation and a few mangoes, you could be a millionaire.
@BackyardFood definitely. A million dollars a mango. Now I just have to figure out how to get the government to buy them.

that is awesome. we've got a lot of work to do everywhere.
I think the man whose name you couldn't think of during the video was 'Victor Frankl'. He was an Austrian holocaust survivor. He wrote the book, "Man's Search for Meaning".
Yes! That's it. Profund book. What incredable strength he had.

Thanks Giants. I had some visions two decades ago that shook me to my core. I dropped everything and began to focus on how to help people through - well, this transition we are in now.

Good walk! I enjoy Puerto Rico whenever I can. Great people, and the lushness is rejuvenating!
Thanks, I just love those big tees.
They are basically making what is known as Terra Negra in the Amazon. A soil still very productive after thousands of years. Wish I could afford to buy a lot, but Minnesota is not that close by, lol. Great idea, add it to my plants both indoors and out that I have in pots, especially the topicals, along with worm castings. Nice experiment to try. Subscribed.
Thanks Carmen!
By the way, nice site, with some exceptions.
Thanks for that!
Of course, Puerto Rico does, the US MADE SURE OF THAT after the invasion in 1898. Before that, PR was an agricultural society. Among other things, they were the suppliers of coffee and real sugar (as in sugar cane) to the Vatican. Not just them, due to PR's location. I am talking hundreds of years, from the time Columbus got there. Yes, that Columbus. Right now, most of the land has been taken over by corporations and very rich people from the US. Of course, PR is good for one thing according to the US: members of the military. I'm okay with Trump, vs the ones that don't want to give up power but having known him since we were both 22 and in NYC, I know exactly what he STILL think of us. In other words, zero hope for the future. The only way for PR to be "food self-reliant" is for all the billionaires and other exploiters, people and companies included to get the heck out. About the only hope is WWIII, crazy as it sounds. Too tiny a group of small islands to waste nuclear bombs with. (By the way, ME: born and raised in the US Army. Little old lady, expert in wars, among other things, so I am being serious.) By the way, if you want to know how the other "sugar" is made come to Minnesota to areas when they make it and wear a hazmat suit and breathing apparatus. People wonder why so many people in the US are so unhealthy.
Hi Carmen, Yes, on the PR too small to waste a bomb on. ANd I completely agree about collapse ultimately being a really good thing - although very painful for most. PR will become food self reliant one way or another. I'm just doing my best to do it the easier way... but sigh, most poeple don't prepare or comprehend the problems that we are facing.
@@BackyardFood How dare you say that? Puerto Rico was a RICH NATION until the US INVADED. That is why the US took us over. Plus, it was in a location when most ships had to be through to get to the US and Central America, before planes existed. PR will never be self-reliant until the US GETS THE HELL OUT OF THERE. Puerto Ricans are being forced out by US billionaires, and things keep getting worse for all Puerto Ricans. Part of that was planned decades ago. I even sent the Governor of Puerto Rico evidence of what those sicko's were planning. Just a couple of weeks ago, that was finally made public by some people in the US.
Thanks for the tip 😀☺️
You bet!
The shade keeping the ground cool enough for rain to absorb into it quickly vs rain falling on hot dirt and rolling off like water on a hotplate thus eroding the ground is how Viktor Schauberger described natures erosion prevention.
I laughed at the gunshots. I spent four months working in Puerto Rico cleaning up debris after Hurricane Georges. I LOVED it there and didn’t want to come back to the mainland! They’re supposed to have strict gun control on that island but as you know… 😅 (New Year’s Eve was LIT UP)! I used to have an extended feeder for my cat when I traveled. That worked fine for the 14 (she was 3 when she was left with me) years I had her and my job saw me traveling a lot. I appreciate your content and expertise and sensible approaches to various things! ❤️🫡🏆🎖️🏅
Thanks!❤🐈⬛🐈
Have you talked with Mike Maloney yet? If you dig through his GoldSilver (w/ Mike Maloney) UA-cam channel he's done some walkthroughs of his Puerto Rico organic farm. You two would get along.
I sure hope I have more in my apartment complexes ponds. I was wondering what that was
👍
Is it maybe the case that the PFAS are actually binding to water and washed out of the container, rather than being destroyed or converted into something harmless by those microbes? I would be interested to see if drain water samples taken at the start and end of the test would show this.
Hi Tech10x10, I wanted to take samples at the end of the control bed for just what you are referring to (draining out), but the costs of testing get prohibitive. In that first test I sent in a smaple at the beginning, and then one at the end. The next test I'm doing I'll just run the whole test and send in samples from the control and the applied beds both of which will be watered the same. So if there is a whasing effect it will happen to both. Stay tuned! BTW< my main outlet is SubStack since UA-cam has been shadow banning me.
HI, I'm very interested in buying some of those almonds to plant. I would love to grow a couple of Almond trees in my backyard to grow with my food forest. Would you be interested in selling me some please. I live in Florida and am confident they will grow here.
